A family photography session with me is all about creating fun memories for you to go back to when looking at your photographs. As a father of three, I know how hard it can be to get the whole family to “smile nicely for a photo”, so my job as a professional family photographer is to create the kind of relaxed environment that will bring out the genuine smiles and connection.
I will guide you through every step of the way so that, regardless of the size of your family and the ages of the children, it can be an enjoyable experience for everyone.
I love capturing faces and connection between family members, from babies to teens, parents and grandparents. Whether you’d like me to capture an important family milestone like the arrival of a new sibling into the family, your twins’ second birthday or before your children leave home to go to Uni, we will have a chat about your requirements and I can advise on the best location for the shoot and time of day to get best results.
With over 38 years behind the lens my approach to weddings photography is natural and organic. Weddings are full of so much emotion and joy and I love witnessing and documenting these moments. I also pay close attention to all the little details that go into creating your perfect wedding day.
Our wedding photography is a mixture of candid storytelling and fine art photography which helps showcase your beautiful day. We aren’t really into posing our couples. Instead we try and allow everyone to be themselves. Each wedding day is entirely unique and so, depending on the day, weather and location, we like to play with the light composing our images with the surroundings with our newly weds.

Most people who get in contact with me for professional headshots admit that they hate having their photo taken, but they all end up finding the experience surprisingly painless. Before the session we’ll have a quick chat about your requirements, particularly whether you are after a more formal or casual type of image. The session can take anything from 10 minutes to 45 minutes, however long it takes to you get a photo you are 100% happy with.
Shortly after the session I will email you a link to download the images.

These pictures will be some of your most treasured possessions. We will ensure that the pictures we capture are taken in a very safe, warm and comfortable environment for you and your baby and the whole experience is one you will remember fondly.
In our opinion, every stage in your children’s lives should be celebrated & captured; but photographing newborn babies is something truly special.
We aim to create beautiful, soft & timeless images using natural tones & textures that best compliment your babies.
The ideal time to photograph newborns is between 7 and 14 days old; so please book your session as soon as you know your due date. We will make a provisional booking for 10 days after your due date and we can adjust this if your baby is early or late.
Pets are like family and need to be photographed too. Over the years I have had many pets myself and having a photo of them is something you treasure for many years.
